2019 Goals

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!

Wow, 2019! Am I the only one who thinks that so crazy! This past year has been nothing short of amazing, and I am so incredibly lucky to be in the place I am today. I just want to take a quick moment to recap this crazy year I have had to reflect, as well as share with you all my goals for this coming year. So follow along and be sure to share your favorite moment from 2018, as well as a personal goal that you hope to achieve in 2019!

Reflection:

2018 has been quite a crazy year! I fell in love with the man of my dreams, I started a new life in a new state, I started a blog, I made friends, I lost friends, I watched friends get married and buy homes for the first time. I experienced new things and even faced some fears! Out of all those things I don’t take a single day back. I made decisions for myself and my happiness and although it was tough, it made me realized all the people in my life that truly are (and still are) rooting for me to just be happy.

Happiness.

That one single word is what I would use to describe this past year. In past years I was always trying to find myself and who I truly wanted to be. Many times I though I found that person to find out later that I was wrong and that I still had to keep searching. This year taught me that in order to find myself I first needed to find happiness. Not only within myself but with the things around me. Well, I did just that! I took a risk in the beginning of the year and in the end it resulted in me being the happiest I have been a very long time.

There are so many people in my life that I love dearly and have helped me get to where I am today. 2018 has truly been one of the best years of my life and I am so gratified for all the experiences and lessons that it has taught me. I just hope to continue this happiness into the new year and grow more and more!

Goals:

  1. This past year I learned that working out and eating healthy can be fun and easy! in 2019 I hope to continue with this journey of working on my health and fitness. I have the best support system and I can’t wait to see the results as I keep up with it and grow.

  2. If you follow me on instagram you know that I have started a crazy challenge to read all 22 of Nicholas Sparks books. I have loved all of his movies and I just can’t believe that before now I had never read any of his books. I love to read and I had recently strayed from it, so what better way to get back into it than reading all 22 of Nicholas Sparks books. I hope to keep up with my reading adventure even after I complete this crazy challenge.

  3. In 2019 I want to really start focusing on myself and less about what others think about me. A majority of my anxiety stems from the fear of what others are thinking and/or saying about me. I no longer what to worry about the opinions of others that really don’t matter. What matters is how I view myself. Focusing on my mental health is something that I truly want to put a majority of my time and effort in and try to minimize my anxiety.

  4. Lastly, I want to live my life this year in a constant state of learning. Learning to love Mitchell more and more everyday and never let that spark that we have die. Learning to love my friends more and more no matter how far apart we are. I want to continue to grow and become a better self than I was in 2018.

I have so many plans and exciting ideas for this next year when it comes to this blog that I can’t wait to share it all with you! One of those exciting plans is that I am beginning my Youtube dream and creating a vlog account! I will be vlogging my way through 2019 and I couldn’t more excited to share it all with you! Be sure to keep a look out for more information on my vlog channel in the coming weeks!

With all that being said, I have a feeling that 2019 might be the best year yet. I can feel all the positivity and amazing experiences that is about to come out of this year. I hope you all have an amazing year and I can’t wait to see where we will be this time next year!
